World GreenMech Contest 2026 Second Runner-Up (Third Place) Award

Right after earning the Runner-Up (Second Place) Award in the Hong Kong GreenMech Contest 2025/26, our school’s GreenMech team (4A Cheng Hei-yin, Iris, 4A Chong Pok-chiu, 4D Zhu Yikai, 5C Hong Hon-ming) was selected to represent Hong Kong at the World GreenMech Contest 2026, held in Bangkok, Thailand, in August.

In the competition, the team presented their entry, “Chronicles of innovations, cycling through the civilization”. By designing and integrating different scientific principles and mechanical structures, they successfully simulated key bicycle operations and mechanisms.

Competing against 20+ teams from around the world—many of whom were winners in their own countries/regions—our students delivered an excellent performance and earned the Second Runner-Up (Third Place) Award. This remarkable achievement showcases the team’s creativity, engineering thinking, and strong collaboration. Congratulations to the team for bringing pride to our school and the Hong Kong SAR.
